76.77%

Strange number, awesome team. The percentage of wins in all of their 637 test matches. The All Blacks start their 2024 season with a couple of games against some dodgy team from the Northern Hemisphere on Saturday. Sorry forgot, its England.

Both sides will be looking to beat the other, particularly the Poms on NZ soil. As always it will be a great game with physicality, daring, power and finesse all wrapped up in a sport that is idolised by us Kiwis.

For both teams, getting the players ready, in just the right frame of mind and relaxed state will be critical to the outcome. Performance is a given at this standard of sport. What is the edge?

More and more it is the amount of recovery that individual players can gather in the days leading up to the critical match. The most influential part of that recovery if often now seen as sleep. As we all do, sleep helps us repair, form memories and recharge before attacking another day. In sport that next day can be the match you have trained your whole life for and better sleep leads to better performance.

At Footfalls & Heartbeats we now have a technology that is invisible, comfortable and unique. It fits on most beds and it will measure your sleep cycles through movement. Imagine the insights over time this will give sports teams into the recovery quality of all athletes.

Imagine no more. Footfalls are the future and the future exists now.

As a final point, c’mon the ABs and make the percentage 76.80!
